So I went ahead and fixed that, <\/span><a style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\" title=\"My review of Jack of Fables: Turning Pages\" href=\"http:\/\/www.delirium.org\/?p=4206\" target=\"_blank\">as you&#8217;ve seen<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">, but then: already three issues in, may as well read the rest. And so here we are, at the end of the twelfth volume in the Fables series, <\/span><a style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\" title=\"Fables Vol. 12: The Dark Ages by Bill Willingham, at Amazon\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Fables-Vol-12-Dark-Ages\/dp\/1401223168\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Dark Ages<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Which, okay, that title doesn&#8217;t make much sense when you consider that <a title=\"My review of Fables: War and Pieces\" href=\"http:\/\/www.delirium.org\/?p=3377\" target=\"_blank\">they just won the war<\/a> against the Adversary (whose name I should probably stop inching around, to be honest) and Fabletown is no longer in imminent danger, right? Sure, the Empire is still out there, mostly holding all the old lands through numbers and inertia, but it&#8217;s a headless snake now, and any heads that develop will at least be smaller and less dangerous.
